What to expect from your ADHD assessment.
A clear process, real answers: from uncertainty to clarity in just 14 days
Your assessment is structured and supportive, designed to give you answers quickly. Within 14 days from booking your appointment, you’ll receive a formal diagnosis and report you can share with your GP, school, or workplace, giving you clarity, not more questions.
Our assessment process follows NICE clinical guidelines and is focused on ensuring that you have the time and space to tell your story.
Onboarding & Screening – Complete secure online forms before your appointment. This helps us gather history, background, and input from parents, educators and partners where needed.
Diagnostic Interview – A 2 to 3-hour clinical interview (in Bedford or online) with a qualified clinician, following NICE diagnostic criteria and exploring every detail of your symptoms.
Diagnosis & Plan – Same-day outcomes wherever possible, with a written diagnostic report within 48 hours and a discussion of treatment or onward options.
Treatment – If ADHD is diagnosed, we can begin treatment quickly and safely. Our approach includes medication titration and ongoing monitoring, with Shared Care agreements wherever possible, so your GP can continue prescribing. This means you don’t just get a diagnosis, you’re given a pathway to long-term support.
We aim to provide more than just an assessment. It’s the first step to finally understanding yourself, finding the right support, and moving forward with confidence. Book today and take control of the next stage of your life.
