The new Bedford Town FC Academy shirt arrived this week, and there on the front, in Eagles blue on amber, is the NeuroFX bird. It caps an incredible few days for the clinic, and honestly, this one might be the proudest.
Awards are wonderful, and we are still floating from the national final. But a shirt is different. A shirt gets worn by young people from Bedford, on pitches around the county, week after week. Our name sits under the club crest on the chest of the next generation of this town, and that means something to a clinic that was built here, by a Bedford family, for Bedford families first.
We became an academy sponsor for the 2026/27 season because the partnership backs the same idea we work from every day: every young person deserves the chance to show what they can do. Some of the young people in any academy will be neurodivergent, and understanding how your own brain works can matter as much in a changing room as it does in a classroom.
